This most recent post from the killer blog "Stuff Christians Like" is awesome because it talks about my job and that's cool, right? So, take a look at it here.
I also love it because the first line is, "“Do you ever think you’ll be a real minister someday?”
I get asked that question pretty often.

Two Songs:
I heard the first song a few days ago and just had to share it with everyone. I'm sure that you've all heard it before, but, I think I love it. The second is from a guy who's music I got turned onto at Refuge two years ago when Christian Stanfill covered John Mark McMillan's song "How He Loves". Check them out.

The Sound Of My Childhood Dying:
Sounds a lot like a mash-up of "Wild Thing" and "The Smurfs Theme".

One of my youth wrote this:
Being a Christian is so much more than what the hypocrites portray it to be. It's more than wearing a Cross neclace or having a bracelett saying, "what would Jesus do?" It's about weilding that symbolic meaning on your heart. It's not about singing in Church or reading the Bible. It's about finding the Truth inside those things. It's not about giving to the poor or lending a helping hand. It's about who you glorify in the process. It's not about raising your hands or falling on your knees. It's about who your doing it for. It's not about what you say or what you think. It's about what your heart wants. It's not about climbing to the top or being called, "Top Dog." It's about the falls and fails on the way there. It's so much more than what you and I say or do. It's about what your heart desires. Do you desire sin? Or do you thrive for perfection?
Thoughts?
